Why Did I Never Think Of That

We have been pretty busy the last few weeks, so on my past few Wednesdays off, Lucas and I been busy running errands, housework etc. Wednesday we had nothing major going on, so I decided to let laundry be laundry, and we took the bike to the park. Lucas loves to ride the bike with me, and so do I.
We were gone for a couple of hours, and I can't believe how good it felt. It's like that good feeling you get when you take a deep breath, and you are more relaxed and less stressed.
Today the weather was beautiful, and I don't ask me why I have never thought of this before, but I decided (since I got home early) to drive home, and take my bike to go pick up Lucas. The sitter lives so close to us, the ride only took me 5-10 minutes.
When I got there, I took Lucas's helmet with me inside, and when I got inside I showed him the helmet, and told him I was picking him up on the bike. Normally he's never ready to go home with me, but as soon as I showed him the helmet, he said bye to his buddy, and he was so excited to take the bike home. And just as I thought, he asked me if we were going to the park. He knows when we take the bike somewhere it is to the park.
Of course we went and played at the park and then rode home. I bet I looked pretty cute riding thru the neighborhoods with a little Spiderman backpack on ;-)
I should pick up Lucas on the bike more often - it's so hard to squeeze in the exercise, and this is an easy way to do it.

Varmere vejr

Hvor jeg nyder, at det er ved at vaere varmere udenfor. Jeg har vaeret ude i haven lidt, og jeg haaber, at jeg i weekenden far tid til at kobe lidt blomster til haven.
Vi skal til komsammen i den danske klub i morgen aften. Forhabentlig bli'r det en hyggelig aften. Det er kun Lucas og jeg, som tager afsted. Dwayne har travlt med arbejde. Det er selvfolgelig godt, men jeg kunne godt taenke mig at ha' ham med.
